As Conference chair, I want to thank every one who participated in BIWA Summit 2008 and made it an outstanding success! The only national conference devoted exclusively to Oracle-based Business Intelligence, Warehousing and Analytics, BIWA Summit 2008 provided Oracle professionals an unprecedented opportunity to share with and learn from other professionals.
The BIWA Summit 2008 attracted over 300 participants from over 20 US states and many foreign countries. The conference committee built on the enormous success of BIWA Summit 2007, which had over 300 participants from across the world. Our event met at Oracle’s worldwide headquarters in Redwood Shores, California. The BIWA Summit 2008 completely filled Oracle's Conference Center, with 65 technical talks and multiple hands-on sessions where you could work with the latest software and learn firsthand from Oracle's product managers and executives. Adding to the event were major keynote speakers, an industry discussion panel, birds of a feather lunch tables, a catered reception and much more.
BIWA Summit 2008 had top consultants and users who speak at many user groups. The Summit provides a forum for sharing best practices, useful information, discovering novel and innovative practices, and addressing issues concerning Oracle products. After the great success of BIWA Summit 2008 and 2007, we look forward to the next summit and an even bigger turnout!
