IOUG - Security Patching Practices Survey Report

Results from the Security Patching Practices Survey are now available. This joint survey from the IOUG and Oracle provided information about security patching practice of Oracle users.

Click here to download the pdf report.

The purpose of this report is to provide feedback to Oracle on behalf of the IOUG members. We gained understanding of practices, challenges were identified and specific recommendations were presented to Oracle to further increase the effectiveness of the Critical Patch Update process. Opportunities are available to learn more about security best practices and specifically about the Critical Patch Update processes through the IOUG at Collaborate 09 as well as upcoming webcasts.

Also check out the following blogs for discussions about the results of the Security Patching Survey.
